Hear from eminent economist Anirban Basu and his forecast for the economy in 2025 and beyond.
Anirban Basu is Chairman & CEO of Sage Policy Group, Inc., a Baltimore-based economic and policy consultancy he founded in 2004. He serves the Chief Economist function for many organizations, including the Maryland Bankers Association and Associated Builders and Contractors. The Baltimore Business Journal named him one of the region’s 20 most powerful business leaders in 2010. In 2022, he entered the Daily Record newspaper’s Circle of Influence. He is the Distinguished Economist in Residence at Goucher College, where he teaches History of Economic Thought. He holds four graduate degrees, including a J.D. and a Ph.D.

There is an additional Annual fee to participate in the Peer Group. Unless you have paid this fee, please do not sign up for this portion of the meeting. Committed participants will receive a separate agenda and communication regarding the Peer Group session. Committed companies can bring up to 2 participants. Lunch will be provided.
Notes and Hotel Rooms:
CFA has arranged for a room block at the Palm Beach Marriott Resort. Please make your reservations for the entire event by registering with CFA. We will make your room arrangements and send you a room confirmation number prior to the event. While we have done our best to anticipate overall room needs, this room block sells out quickly and registrations will be made on a first received basis.
The Palm Beach Marriott has 2 types of rooms available: One Bedroom and Two Bedrooms. The Two Bedroom Intercoastal View Suite (click link to see photos and description) has a King bed in each bedroom and pullout sofa in the living room. Each bedroom locks off from the living room and has its own full bathroom with shower and tub.
For 2 Bedroom Suites, please have a MAIN registrant for that room and add your additional attendees as GUESTS. In order to do this, complete the MAIN registration and then at the top of the page CLICK on ADD GUEST. Do this for EVERY GUEST in your 2 BR suite. It is easier to enter everyone as GUESTS of the Main registrant instead of having them register separately. The MAIN registrant will receive the confirmation number. No one else in the room will receive the conformation number.
ALL guests who are attending ANY events MUST be registered in order to attend any portions of the meeting.
Rates:
One Bedroom: $488.00 per night plus fees and taxes
Two Bedroom Suite: $638.00 plus fees and taxes ($319.00 if split between two people)
These RATES are applicable until January 25, 2025 or until the room block is full.
IMPORTANT: When you register using our online system you should receive a registration confirmation within 30 minutes of online registration. If you DO NOT receive a registration confirmation, it likely did not go through.
